Check it out. it’s a down and dirty election post mortem. Naturally, I didn’t cover all the topics I would have liked, but I can talk about politics for days, and you all would likely get bored. So, you can listen to me talk for 30 minutes and feel that you have an election recap that you can count on, light on the punditry and heavy on the truth.

In this show we talk about your duties when you go to the polls Tuesday, the stupidity and predictability of Sadaam Hussein’s guilty verdict (and the expected, but unwanted sentence to hang accidently imposed by an “independent” Iraqi judicial system, against the interests of the United States), and Chavez getting all uppity again over the upcoming election in his country, and America’s predictably jingoistic response. At the end, we play a tune from Red Champion (this link goes to their Myspace Page), who is possibly the single greatest (as in best) band from Rapid City South Dakota. This song has cussing in it, but it is probably nothing you never heard before.

In other news, you all have got to visit this site: National Security Archives. I was pointed toward this site while researching the nonsense that went on in Chile in 1973 and America’s activities in this country, and discovered a VERY valuable resource for finding information about America’s real role in overthrowing governments, destabilizing allies, killing foreign nationals, and repressing the people in our own country. What these people do is go after the government under Freedom of Information Act, and get documents declassified which demonstrate US government culpability in violence both at home and abroad. This is NOT conspiracy theory stuff, my friends. This is the real deal, signed and approved by our own government itself. They publish both analysis of the documents (for the lazy among us) and actual photos of the documents themselves for you to look at them and read them for yourself.

It is a fascinating site, and I have just barely scratched the surface of what they have going on there. So check is out. That’s the National Security Archive (The are not in anyway affiliated with the National Security Agency, but you can bet that people who go visit their site are being monitored by the NSA.)

Since we are getting things squared away here at the Supernova Earth Show, we are pleased to announce the publication of Supernova 16. In this show we discuss Peter Kornbluh’s excellent book on the US involvement in the overthrow of Allende’s government in 1973, Castro’s litteral rise (he’s standing and talking now! Good Boy! Papa Doc’s so proud of him.) Evo Morales throwing eggs at those Marxist defeatists who pray to St. Marx every night for his failure, and the GAO informing America that they are on a one way trip to economic disaster. Good fun. For those of you all who were wondering where we went, we have released three shows you probably never even heard before (unless you are subscribed to the Creepy Sleepy Show). The first two shows, Supernova 14 and Supernova 14a are colisted with the Creepy Sleepy Show as 61 and 62 respectvely. They were recorded in Dan’s downtown studios in Spearfish South Dakota at the end of July last. Since then I have done a couple shows over the internet phone with Dan, but the Supernova Earth Show has been on Hiatus since the end of July.

Well, now it’s back, and its back with the exact opposite of a vengence. I have made the decision to pare the show down quite a ways. First, it’s shorter, and will be more focused on one or two main issues. Secondly, I have chosen to not make more commericals for each show. We have a decent catalog of production elements, and with less emphasis on production and more on commentary, I will be saving myself hours of work.

Hopefully few fall asleep. We’re back, and so you can download the Supernova 15 today.

A Very excellent show, we discuss the stupidity of Israel, and play audio of G Dub’s cussing at world politics.

In Dub’s Defense, I can say that while he is not an intelligent man, by any defintion of that adjective, I am, and I can say if I were President of the United States, the pre-eminent imperial power in the world at the current moment, I would cuss up a storm. I’d go into press conferences and start cussing. I wouldn’t care. Because what would the world do? We like to make fun of Bush for a trillion number of reasons, but why is it so interesting when a person with an IQ of 58 lets one slip accidently? I think what is more interesting, and what people are not really making that big a deal out of is his views of the role of the UN… “We need to get Kofi on the phone and tell him to do something…” and how he views the conflicts over in the Middle East as just merely a bunch of “sh_t”. People are simply making a big deal about a yokel that somehow found himself declared President cussing to the british version of a “good old boy”. I admit, to some degree I myself am guilty of this.

Otherwise in the story, Erik makes a return with the Supernova Soapbox, this week espousing a little more contentious position. Makes for great radio.
