I think if there are 15 million blogs in the world (who knows, this number is arbitrary and rhetorical so just go with it…), I must be the 20 millionth blogger to write about this story by now… Call me old fashioned, but I really just do not believe the news until there is so much of it from so many different sources that I can no longer deny it.

But… supposedly Libby said he was authorized to leak the name of the CIA agent who was undercover and the wife of Bush critic Joe Wilson. This whole thing seems to be a conspiracy theory to me… Not that I’m defending the man you people elected preseident, but there are so many people who so desperately want to see him fail that they will latch on to any little tiny ray of hope- they’re BEGGING the Almighty God in Heaven every single night with the same prayer:

“Dear God, Not like I believe in you or anything: I’m not a praying man, you know I’m not a Christian, and you know i hope you send all those fundamentalist anti-abortion people to the Devil, but please, Please PLEASE! let tomorrow be our day of liberation from that anti-Christ, illuminatti, 666, skull and bones, New world Order Bu-ss-h Junior who is in the White House. He is just so evil. Let something ANYTHING come upon him that will hurt his presidency and give our side, the side of obvious good and righteousness, the chance to pounce on him and finally, once and for all get rid of him. He is an evil human being who deserves nothing but bad, and I know because he is against every last thing that I stand for. If you do this for me, I will belive in you, thank you very much, signed the Liberals”

You know this is true and you know that this is why this story is out, now, without more credible sources putting it out. There are just people in this country who think all their problems will be solved if Bush gets impeached.

I am one of the ones who is not holding my breath. I predict that Bush will finish out his second term as most Presidents do, with some moderate successes and some huge failures. He will go into retirement and you won’t hear from him again until there is a catastorphic tsunami. The Republicans will win big in 2006 and 2008 because the Democrats are wasting so much of their time and energy blocking everything the other half of the one major party (the GOP) is doing that they won’t put a platform of their own together, because like in 04, they think it’s “in the bag”. Hillary will be nominated in 08, and she’ll lose, because she, like Kerry, and like Gore, are completely out of step with what the left really wants and needs. But most importantly, Bush will weather this storm as he does all other storms: on vacation.
